Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death worldwide, representing a significant public health challenge.

An alarming reality
A recent study by Public Health France highlights an alarming reality: only 11% of the population enjoys optimal cardiovascular health.

Early action on risk factors
It is essential to clearly explain what optimal cardiovascular health is: the absence of risk factors such as smoking, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and a sedentary lifestyle. Addressing these factors early significantly reduces the risk of serious illnesses, such as myocardial infarction or stroke.

Educating children and adolescents
Cardiovascular risk factors can appear as early as childhood. It is therefore crucial to take action from a very young age, involving schools, the media, and social networks. Informing children and teenagers about the importance of a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and good stress management is essential for preserving their future health.

Developing innovative treatments
Despite government efforts, cardiovascular health research remains underfunded. However, increased investment is crucial to better understand the causes of cardiovascular disease, improve prevention, and develop innovative treatments. Supporting research means giving future generations the opportunity to live healthier lives.
